Where is your source of energy coming from?

I was at my parents’ apartment this past winter, and Dad said the phone/answering machine hadn’t been working, and his Lifeline wouldn’t recharge. I thought maybe one of the power cords got unplugged, but everything appeared to be plugged in.

But there were so many tangled cords because of their electric-controlled recliners, phone power cords, a lamp, and some seasonal decorations that it was hard to tell what was what.

I started by sorting out cords.

I discovered the phone and Lifeline were actually plugged into an extension cord that was plugged into itself and not the wall socket. No wonder nothing worked!

This is pretty much what happens when you’re not plugged into your real source of healing power.

Nothing works when you’re distracted by pain, anxiety, blame, guilt, regret. You’re basically plugged into a story in your head and NOT Source energy. This will keep you stuck in a dead-end loop.

Thoughts are energy in creative form.

If you catch your mind replaying the same frustrating or depressing thoughts over and over, end the loop by thinking a safe word. A safe word is something you’ve decided on ahead of time. For years I used the word “Angel.” But it can be pizza, or ya-hoo, or your cat’s name. Anything that resonates with you.

The point is that when you catch yourself in a loop of thoughts that do not serve your creative power in the way you want them to, end the cycle by using your safe word. Then immediately choose what you want to think next, which is what you want to create in your life.

The more you catch the thoughts that are NOT helping you create the life you want, and then replace them with what you want to see, the more your brain will get the message that this IS what you want to think about and it’ll drop anything unlike it. This is the way to consciously use your powerful creative Source energy.
