How are you giving back to yourself?

Last week we talked about what gifts you’re giving to the world with your thoughts, and I was super inspired by the answers I received:

  • “I am gifting the world a focus on being a clear channel of love and light. This morning I pictured our world wrapped in light and a blanket of love.”

  • “If we look for the good in all, we will get the good. I am generating [with my thoughts] well-being, love, and togetherness.”

Today, I want to know how you’re giving back to yourself? What are the ways you’re filling your heart so you’re able to handle the near-constancy of all the changes in life?

Here are a few of my regular sanity go-tos:

  • I watch VERY little news, and I don’t do much social media unless it’s to wish someone a happy birthday.

  • I focus my thoughts on what I want to create and see in my life.

  • I rest when I need to.

  • I’m trying new recipes.

  • I bake cookies.

  • I talk “smart” with my friends and family.

  • I pet my cats and cattle.

  • I putz in my gardens doing the last of the clean-up.

  • I do my stretching exercises to ground myself and help my body.

  • I keep a regular schedule: journal, exercise, work, play, read, bed.

  • I watch funny movies.

  • I read interesting books and take online classes.

  • I participate in Zoom meditations.

I also try hard not to take anything personally, and remind myself that I’m doing the best I can—just like everyone else is.

I believe in all of us. Keep the faith. It will get better.

And as always, I’m available for private or group sessions if you need deeper understanding, support, or guidance through energy work or intuitive life coaching.
