Four baths to cleanse your aura

Your aura is the energy system that envelopes your physical body. It normally surrounds your body 12-18 inches, and looks sort of like you’re encased within an egg-shaped light form. If someone stands too close to you, it feels like they’re in your space because they’ve moved into your aura.

Even before your physical body touches something, your energy body already has. How much “sludge” that’s been gathered into your aura depends on what you expose yourself to and think about.

As an energy intuitive, I work on your aura because I know that’s the system that’s first affected before it becomes a physical reality. That’s why it’s important to have a squeaky-clean aura. 😊 Here’s four baths you can take to help keep your aura clean using the elements of earth, water, fire, and air:

  1. Earth: The mud bath. I had my first mud bath last year, and wasn’t too excited to have the experience. Afterward, I wondered what took me so long? I felt light and euphoric, and my skin was the softest it’s been since birth.

  2. Water: The shower or a tub bath with water poured over your head. I have yet to step out of my shower and not say, “Man, that felt good.” I’ve also noticed that when in the shower with water pouring over my head, my best inspirations come to me effortlessly.

  3. Fire: The fire bath. Light a fire with something organic like straw or wood. Eyes open, stand facing the fire with open hands for three minutes. Then stand with your back to the fire for three minutes. I thought this was an interesting bath, because this is something I often do when at a campfire. I didn’t know I was cleansing my aura!

  4. Air: The wind bath—one of my favorites. Think of a balmy summer evening when the breeze is gentle and warm. I always close my eyes, lift my face to the wind and breathe in deeply. Ahhh. Feels so good. All my thoughts disappear as I absorb this healing sensation. It’s hard to come into the house on those kinds of nights.

Every one of these baths will cleanse your energy system so you feel relaxed and rejuvenated, as if a weight has been lifted. It always blows me away that our simplest ways to stay healthy is conscious, physical connection to what’s already found in the natural world. Nature to the healing rescue, again!
