Got pain? Remedies that work
I’ve noticed many of my clients, friends, and family are dealing with some type of inflammatory issue from gut problems, asthma, joint pain/arthritis, allergies, skin rashes, sinus infection, thyroid issues, migraines, and so much more.
I’m learning these symptoms of disease seem to be directly linked to part of a larger auto-immune disorder brought on by cellular inflammation. In other words, our body cells are telling us something is bugging them and they are creating inflammation as protection.
What do I think the body is trying to protect itself from? Toxins such as mercury, lead, pesticides, alcohol, most drugs and chemicals found in our clothing, home goods, food, water, hygiene products, air, soil, and basically everywhere. Add emotional and mental stress to the mix and it’s going to be hard to maintain a positive outlook when dealing with all this chronic stuff.
Now for some good news. Science/technology is getting closer to understanding frequency medicine (everything is frequency including us) and a number of helpful products are on the market to balance your electro-magnetic field. I use the biomat, but there are so many others. Just look up frequency medicine/devices and do your research.
I also see my electroacupuncturist Carolyn for tune ups when my gut is off or I feel achy. This is a form of therapy where a small electric current is passed between pairs of acupuncture needles inserted into specific energy points within the body. Electroacupuncture is used for all kinds of symptoms of disease including cancer, but also for good energy maintenance.
Recently, I’ve learned about the value of grey sea salt as a great source of electrolytes and 64 trace minerals that our body needs to function properly. These minerals were once found in our food and soil, but no more. By swapping out regular table salt in favor of grey sea salt, you’ll be supporting your nervous system, brain, heart, and muscles. An easy solution, right?
I’ve talked about selenium before, but it’s worth repeating.
Selenium is an important antioxidant used for healthy thyroid function, DNA production, and boosting the immune system. After menopause I felt a bit weepy and kind of sad, which is weird for me. By eating 3-4 Brazil nuts a day (a great source of selenium) my mood stabilized. I don’t need any other drug, just Brazil nuts. Easy.
I’ve also talked about the importance of movement to keep your lymphatic system working properly. Unlike the heart, the lymph nodes aren’t driven by an internal pump and need regular exercise to move out body toxins. Jumping jacks is one of the best as it moves all parts, plus grounds you back into your body. Couple movement with Epson salt baths and lemon/ginger tea and you’ve got a great detox system in place. Your body will looooooove you!
Note: To make the tea boil a kettle of water, pour over half a sliced lemon with peel, a knob of raw ginger diced, steep 20 minutes, then strain in a mug. Add 2 tablespoons of raw honey for taste and antioxidants.
And as always, I’m available for private sessions if you need deeper understanding, support, or guidance in the form of energy work or intuitive life coaching.
