This form of active group meditation involves using a guided controlled breathing process and music to access altered states of consciousness by oxygenating the blood and stimulating the pineal gland (the small organ in your brain that regulates sleep, hormonal health, and well-being).

Two blankets or one blanket and a yoga mat or sleeping bag
One or two pillows for head and under knees
Water container
Journal and pen (optional)
